Welcome to the World of Cocopeat
As a vision of Moreyields , we recognized the lucrative potential of this natural resource and aspired to reach its benefit to a wider range of greenkeepers and agronomists as a potting mix. Our journey is rooted in a commitment to provide gardeners and cultivators with a superior alternative that transcends traditional soil, elevating the gardening experience to new heights.
Why Choose Cocopeat?
Cocopeat is more than a product; it’s a philosophy that harmonizes the simplicity of coconut husks with the sophistication of modern horticulture. This synergy offers a potting mix that maximizes water retention, encourages optimal aeration, and facilitates efficient nutrient absorption.
Optimal Water Retention
Cocopeat's exceptional water retention capacity ensures a consistent and efficient supply to plant roots, reducing the need for frequent watering. This promotes water conservation, making it an eco-conscious choice for sustainable agriculture.
Sustainable
Derived from coconut husks, cocopeat is a sustainable, renewable resource that minimizes environmental impact.
Enhanced Aeration
The unique structure of cocopeat promotes excellent aeration, preventing soil compaction and facilitating robust root development for healthier, more vigorous plants. Improved oxygenation also reduces the risk of root diseases.
Biodegradable
Its biodegradable nature ensures a greener, more responsible cultivation practice. As it breaks down, cocopeat enriches the soil, contributing to long-term soil health.
Ideal pH Balance
Maintaining an ideal pH balance(5.5 -6.8), cocopeat serves as a neutral medium, providing a stable environment for plants to thrive. This helps optimize nutrient uptake, ensuring the plants receive the essential elements for optimal growth.
Disease Resistance Properties
Cocopeat naturally resists diseases, creating a protective shield for plants and contributing to a healthier and more resilient crop yield.
Our Products
The manufacturing journey of Cocopeat begins with dehusking the coconut fibres which undergo a careful extraction process, ensuring the preservation of their innate qualities. Once separated, the fibres are thoroughly cleaned to remove impurities and unwanted substances.
The cleaned coconut fibres are then subjected to a precise hydration process, transforming them into a pliable material. This prepared blend is then compressed into different product variations including blocks, discs, coins, slabs, tiles etc depending on the requirements.
Cocopeat Blocks
Our Cocopeat Blocks are compressed, making them easy to handle and transport. Upon hydration, these blocks expand to provide a lightweight, nutrient-rich growing medium ideal for seed-starting and potting mixes.
Cocopeat Bricks
Compact and convenient, our Cocopeat Bricks are perfect for small-scale gardening. By soaking these bricks in water, they expand into a fluffy, moisture-retaining substrate. Ideal for container gardening, these bricks provide a stable environment for plants to flourish.
Cocopeat Grow Bags
Our Cocopeat Grow Bags are filled with pre-moistened Cocopeat. These bags offer excellent aeration and water retention attributes. Perfect for a variety of crops, these bags are the go-to solution for ready-to-use and hassle-free cultivation.
Custom Blends
Tailored to meet your specific gardening needs, our Custom Blends combine Cocopeat with other natural ingredients for a specialized growing medium. Whether you require enhanced water retention, specific nutrient ratios, or disease-resistant properties, our custom blends offer a personalized solution for your unique gardening goals.

Applications of Cocopeat
Cocopeat can be used in various applications, including
- Soilless Growing Media:Cocopeat is used as a soil conditioner to improve soil structure, aeration, and water retention. It enhances the soil's ability to retain nutrients and promotes better root development.
- Hydroponics: Cocopeat is suitable for hydroponic systems, where plants grow without soil. As a growing medium in hydroponic systems, cocopeat provides support for plant roots and helps to maintain optimal moisture levels.
- Soil Amendment: When mixed with soil, cocopeat improves soil structure, aeration, and water retention. It enhances the water-holding capacity of sandy soils and improves drainage in clayey soils. This makes it a valuable soil amendment for a wide range of crops.
- Seed Starting: Cocopeat is often used for starting seeds in nurseries and seedling trays. It provides a sterile and uniform environment for seed germination and early seedling growth.
- Mulching: Cocopeat can be used as a mulching material around plants. It helps to conserve soil moisture, suppress weed growth, and regulate soil temperature.
- Composting:Cocopeat is a biodegradable material, and when mixed with organic waste, it aids in the composting process. It improves the structure of the compost, enhances moisture retention, and promotes microbial activity.
