Effective date: 30 September 2026
This Privacy Notice explains how Bhargo Energy Ventures (OPC) Private Limited (MoreYields) (“MoreYields”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal data when you visit moreyields.com, send us an enquiry, or deal with us as a customer or supplier. We are the Data Fiduciary for this data under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025.
In short: we only collect what we need to answer you and do business with you, we never sell your data, and you can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete it.
1. Personal data we collect and why
We only collect the personal data listed below, and only for the purpose shown next to it:
- Website enquiry form — your name, email address, phone number (optional), the product you are interested in and your message. Purpose: to reply to your enquiry, send you a quote, and follow up on that enquiry. Basis: your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form.
- Product updates (optional) — your name and email / phone number, only if you tick “send me occasional product updates”. Purpose: to send you news about our products and offers. Basis: your separate, optional consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Email, phone calls and WhatsApp — the contact details and information you choose to share when you contact us directly. Purpose: to respond to you. Basis: data you have voluntarily provided for that purpose (Section 7(a) of the DPDP Act).
- Customers and suppliers — business contact details, billing and shipping addresses, GSTIN, order and payment records. Purpose: to supply or buy goods, issue invoices, ship orders and meet our tax and legal obligations. Basis: your consent / voluntarily provided data, and compliance with law.
- Privacy requests — the details you give us on the “Make a privacy request” form below. Purpose: to verify your identity and act on your request. Basis: compliance with the DPDP Act.
- Technical data — like every website, our hosting server automatically records IP addresses, browser type, pages requested and times in its security logs. Purpose: to keep the website secure, prevent misuse and investigate problems. We do not use this data to identify or profile visitors.
We do not sell your personal data, use it for advertising profiles, or knowingly collect data from children.
2. Cookies
Our website sets only the cookies it needs to work. None of them track you, and none contain personal data:
- pll_language — set by our language plugin to note whether you were last viewing the site in English or Kannada, so parts of the site that don’t have the language in their web address (such as background requests a page makes) answer in the same language. Kept for up to 12 months.
- WordPress login cookies — only for our own staff when they sign in to manage the website.
We do not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking cookies. Our fonts and images are served from our own server, so simply visiting the site does not send your data to Google or other third parties. If you tap the WhatsApp button, WhatsApp (Meta) will process your data under its own privacy policy.
3. Who we share it with
We share personal data only when necessary, and only with:
- Service providers (Data Processors) who help us run our business — our website hosting and email-delivery provider (Hostinger), our email service provider, and accounting, logistics and payment/banking partners for customer orders. They may only use your data to provide their service to us.
- Government and regulatory authorities, courts or law-enforcement agencies, when the law requires it.
Some of these providers may store data on servers outside India. Such transfers are allowed under Section 16 of the DPDP Act, and we will not transfer personal data to any country the Government of India restricts.
4. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to business: we delete them within 24 months of our last communication with you.
- Customer and supplier records: kept for as long as Indian tax, GST and accounting laws require (generally up to 8 years), then deleted.
- Product-update subscriptions: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
- Privacy requests and our replies: for up to 3 years, as a record that we handled them.
- Server security logs: kept by our hosting provider for the period required for security purposes (at least one year, as required by the DPDP Rules).
When the purpose is complete and no law requires us to keep the data, we delete it.
5. How we protect it
We use reasonable security safeguards, including an encrypted (HTTPS) website, access to enquiries restricted to the people who handle them, strong passwords, and a hosting provider with its own security controls. If a personal data breach ever affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Rules require, explaining what happened, the likely impact, and what we and you can do about it.
6. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- Access — get a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it, and the identities of anyone we have shared it with.
- Correct, complete, update or erase your personal data.
- Withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it — for example by using the form below, emailing us, or replying “STOP” to any product update. This does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it, but we will stop that processing and delete the data unless a law requires us to keep it.
- Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer about how we have handled your data.
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in case of your death or incapacity.
To use any of these rights, use the privacy request form below or contact our Grievance Officer. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act. We will acknowledge your request promptly and respond within 30 days (and never later than the 90 days allowed by the DPDP Rules). There is no charge.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India after first using our grievance process.
